Privacy policy
This describes what Throughline collects when you visit this site or become a client, why, and how to get rid of it.
What we collect
When you fill in the booking form: your name, work email, company name, company size, and the answer you type about what you're trying to measure. When you book a call, Cal.com also collects the time you chose and — if you give it — a phone number for reminders.
Automatically, on every visit: the page you landed on, the site that referred you, any campaign tags or advertising click identifiers in the URL, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string. We store a random identifier in a cookie so repeat visits from the same browser can be recognised. This identifier is not linked to you personally unless you submit the form.
If you become a client: the business data you connect or send us so we can do the work, plus anything you write in the client portal.
Advertising
We advertise on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, and LinkedIn, and we need to know which of those actually produce clients rather than just clicks.
To do that we tell each platform when someone who arrived from one of their ads reaches a meaningful step — submitting the form, booking a call, holding the call, signing an agreement. These reports are sent from our server and include a cryptographically hashed (SHA-256) version of your email address, never the address itself, along with the advertising click identifier from your original visit, your IP address, and your user-agent. The platform uses the hash to recognise its own user without us disclosing who you are.
If you accept cookies, we additionally load the Meta Pixel, the Google tag, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag in your browser. These set their own cookies, allow those companies to recognise you across sites, and let us show ads to people who have visited before. If you decline, none of those three scripts load and the site behaves identically in every other respect.
Why we're allowed to
Contact details you submit are processed to respond to your enquiry and to provide the service you asked for. Analytics and advertising measurement rest on your consent, which you give or withhold with the cookie banner and can change at any time by clearing this site's cookies.
Who else sees it
Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Cal.com (scheduling), and the three advertising platforms named above. We do not sell your data, and we do not share client business data with anyone.
How long we keep it
Leads and their attribution data are kept while there is a realistic prospect of working together, and deleted on request. Client data is kept for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period after it, then deleted. Advertising cookies expire on their own — the first-visit identifier after 400 days, the most-recent-visit record after 30.
Your choices
You can decline advertising cookies on the banner. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will do so within 30 days. Browser-level tracking protection and ad blockers work normally here; nothing on this site tries to circumvent them.
